Abstract

With the rapid development of the financial industry, market competition is becoming increasingly fierce, and commercial banks are facing new development opportunities. As the backbone of commercial banks, grassroots employees significantly influence the operation of these banks, impacting both work efficiency and service quality. However, many commercial banks excessively pursue economic benefits while paying little attention to the psychological health issues of grassroots employees. These employees experience fast-paced work environments, increasing job stress, and rising psychological distress, which affects their personal development and, in turn, impacts the development and progress of commercial banks. If we cannot address the psychological health issues of grassroots employees in a timely manner, it could lead to a decline in work efficiency, a decrease in service quality, and even result in talent loss and other adverse situations. Therefore, improving the psychological health of grassroots employees has become a key issue for the development of commercial banks. Relevant personnel need to investigate the actual psychological health status of employees and develop practical solutions to optimize bank management, create a warm and harmonious working environment for employees, stimulate their inner potential, and enhance their job satisfaction. This should achieve comprehensive employee development while helping banks enter a new stage of development. This article mainly focuses on the pathways for commercial banks to improve the psychological health of grassroots employees. Firstly, it analyzes employees’ work pressure, work environment, and individual factors. Secondly, it optimizes psychological health research efforts and strengthens the effectiveness of follow-up management. It proposes setting up professional psychological support and increasing stress relief training, emphasizing cultural leadership advantages to elevate employees' mindset, and enhancing employee care by establishing development platforms for employees, with the aim of improving the psychological health guidance level in banks and providing reference materials for more related research.
